Consulting and Invasive Plant Assessments - Are you curious what's growing on your land?
We can bring our experience to your land and help you identify infestations of invasive plants and insects on your property.
The first step to knowing how you can steward your land is to assess your area for invasive threats and consider setting goals for their removal. For land owners close to the Esopus New York area, Trillium is happy to stop by and visit for free. For those of you further away, or interested in a longer first visit there will be a small charge.

Invasive Plant Management - Are you committed to protecting your natural heritage?
Management starts with information.
We can start by mapping invasive species on your land. This step is critical to knowing what the problem infestations are and where they are. With this information we can prioritize management tactics. Every plan is unique, just like every land parcel is unique. We will work with you to develop the most efficient path to successful eradication.
We apply adaptive management techniques to fit all situations. This means we will find the most efficient or least disruptive method available depending on your priorities and site characteristics. Then using a combination of chemical, biological and mechanical methods we adapt our management options to work best in your unique situation.
As the project moves along periodic follow up surveys help to ensure abatement and suppress new infestations. We can continue tracking results with pictures and GPS/GIS mapping.

Pesticides should only be used after thoughtful, judicious review and only by NY DEC certified applicators who rigorously follow instructions on the product's label adhere to best-use practices. If determined that pesticides should be used on a project, they will always be used in the most efficient and careful way possible.
There are more ways to apply a pesticide that spraying it. Often the touch of a sponge will do.
